Glenn E Blodgett Jr

Glenn E. Blodgett, Jr., age 67, a longtime resident of North East, PA and formerly of Ripley, NY passed away on Sunday February 15, 2026 at Meadville Medical Center. 

He was born on October 1, 1958 in Erie, PA to the late Glenn E. Blodgett, Sr. and Carol Leslie Stoddard Blodgett.

Glenn graduated from Ripley Central High School in 1977 and was employed at Electric Materials in North East for 44 years until retirement.

Glenn spent the past two years enjoying new friends at Connect 55 Senior Living in Meadville, Pa. He enjoyed spending time with his family, bicycling, golfing, watching the Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Pirates, and drinking Dr. Pepper. He enjoyed attending car shows, The Antique Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Show in Saegertown, and being part of the G. B. Repair Racing Crew.

Glenn is survived by his children, Heather and Lucas Blodgett; siblings, Denise M. Adams (William) of Saegertown and Stephen J. Blodgett (Wanda) of Ripley; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Pastor Marvin Hutchison. Private interment will be held at Quincy Cemetery at a later date. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
